Amy Gregorio
Starting at a young age, Amy Gregorio had a passion for all animals and always knew she wanted her profession to be in the pet industry. Grooming seemed like the perfect job because you get to make pets feel and look great, as well as make their owners happy.

Amy was trained right here at The Village Groomer, and in the future will be continuing her education by attending grooming expos/shows and hopes to one day become a National Dog Groomers  Association certified dog groomer and a Certified Feline Master Groomer (after attending a cat specific grooming school).

Amy enjoys grooming dogs of all types because each one is different in their own way, but her favorite breed to groom is the Maltese. She also enjoys the challenge of grooming kitties and understands they require special care.

When Amy isn't grooming she enjoys baking, sewing, and spending time with her boyfriend & her six "furkids" (2 kitties, 2 Dachshunds, and 2 house rabbits).
Our Groomers
Vicki Borny is our owner with over 21 years grooming experience.
Vicki Borny (owner) - 21 years grooming experience.

Vicki's love and compassion for animals started from early childhood where her parents rarely said no to the new pet or strays she would find homes for, or the assorted wildlife she helped and cared for along the way. They were instrumental in forming the passion for animals that she has today. Along the way she has worked for companies like Merrill Lynch at the Chicago Board of Trade, The Pacific Stock Exchange, Remax of the Pocono's, and with her partner Sandra Crombie of nine years, owned and operated Animal Safari, which was a 2,300 square foot Pet Shop and Grooming Salon in Foster City, CA., where their motto was "A Store to Explore". After being out of the pet industry for eight years, Vicki decided to relocate to Prescott, AZ where she met Donna of Donna's Grooming Salon, who was looking to downsize to one business, "Christmas in Prescott". Vicki bought the Grooming Salon in 2007 and added a fun and exciting Canine Camp and Boarding Facility.

Kristina Lowe
Kristi Lowe is one of our lead stylists with a vibrant personality and tons of positive energy. She lives in Prescott Valley with her sons Ethan and Kagan, and Chihuahua mix Savvy. Kristi was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV where her grooming career began. She moved to the Prescott area in 2003 after starting a family. She enjoys the wholesome community atmosphere and all the beautiful mountains, trails, and sunsets. Kristi always had pets growing up, including a cat named Chessie, a pug name Snuffy, and a guinea pig named Miss Piggy.

Kristi began working as a bather at the age of 14, washing dogs after school for her mother who is also a master groomer. They worked at Richland’s Pet Center in Las Vegas. Kristi would also bathe exotic animals such as ferrets and rabbits. She enjoyed taking care of fish, reptiles, and small pets like gerbils and hamsters. She loved working with animals, especially dogs, and by the age of 18 became a full time groomer after graduating high school. She has been a master groomer ever since.

With 23 years of experience in grooming, she has also trained more than ten groomers. She specializes in positive, “love” handling techniques, and has a special way with handling challenging dogs. Her main goal is to provide each dog with a loving, safe, and enjoyable experience while satisfying the customer’s vision of their unique pet’s style. Kristi has made a lot of canine friends that she adores in her years at The Village Groomer, and customers who have truly become family.
